Answer:The playground on Lucifer Street was feared by all, I got complaints about it almost daily. I’m James Rodney by the way, ghostbuster extraordinaire! Yesterday Lucy came with another complaint; “My brother Bobby won’t go outside without me now. You need to fix this; you are a ghostbuster after all.” Just then the Tipps twins walked past and had (another) laugh at my ghostbusting agency.

At lunch Lucy came back with, Amber, Tom, Ruby and Bobby. “What are you guys doing here?” I asked. “We’re your new deputies!” said Lucy “and if you all stay back after school I’ll explain my plan.”

After school, Lucy outlined her plan and we all went home to create our alibies. We were supposedly having a sleepover at Lucy’s house, except for Lucy, who told her dad the sleepover was at my place. We packed our sleeping bags and met at the Lucifer Street milk bar. By the time we finally got to the playground it was 6:00pm and starting to get dark. We were all excited. “Ooh, it’s just as creepy as they say,” whispered Ruby, while Bobby held Lucy’s hand tightly.

The goals on the footy field were overgrown with weeds and the broken swings were swaying eerily. I was a bit scared myself and I’m 12! “Okay, now we just wait till it’s dark and then we’ll go ghost busting,” uttered Lucy. Just then, Tom went to sit on the seesaw and it moved and threw him off. Tom screamed and landed hard on his nose. Fruitlessly we investigated what had caused the seesaw to move and eventually we caved in to Amber’s idea of waiting in the cubby house. We all scrambled inside and screamed ourselves silly when the door was slammed shut behind us. The door remained shut, we were stuck inside. We decided to try and get some sleep until Amber bellowed, “I know who our ghost is! It’s the Tipps twins, they aren’t scared of the playground and I never see them after school anymore. They must be here!” We knew we had to catch them in the act and we convinced Bobby, the only one small enough, to climb through the window and open the door from the outside. By the time we got out, Amber was pretty worked up and shouted, “Come on let’s find the Tipps and show them what we think of them terrorising the playground!” She sounded so forbidding that the Tipps twins, who were hiding nearby, confessed and promised to turn themselves in to the principal’s office the next morning. After they left, we all had a good laugh and went home.

Unfortunately our parents found out somehow and to cut a long story short, all of us (except Bobby) got grounded for a month. Now I have the bittersweet pleasure of hearing the children enjoying the playground from my window. Oh, and my ghostbusting agency is now a detective agency with a few new recruits too…

hope this will help u......

A playground, playpark, or play area is a place specifically designed to enable children to play there. It is typically outdoors. While a playground is usually designed for children, some target other age groups or people with disabilities. A playground might exclude children below a certain age
