There once live a father who had four sons.The father was old and used to walk with a stick in his right hand.He seemed too old and the people used to say that he wont last long in this graceful world.
His four sons were tall handsome boys and were quite strong.They were always ready to fight with each other even on little things.Thier father always used to worry about them.He was unable to understand that what should he do so that they would stop fighting and then finally on a bright sunny day he say children playing with sticks and suddenly an idea stucked to his mind.
He then went to the market and brought some sticks and tied them together.When his tired sons came home from the farm he asked his four sons to stand in a straight line.The boys were unable to understand what their father was trying say.Then thier father gave them the tied sticks and asked them to break it one by one.Then each of the boy tried to break it one by one but all unable to do so.Then the father removed the rope which tied the sticks together and seperated it.He then asked them to break the seperated sticks and positively each one was able to do.
Their father then said that like these sticks if you all will stay together,there will be no power which will be able to break you apart but if you fight among yourself you'll break down into pieces and will hit the nail on your own leg.He made his sons understood that united we stand,divided we fall and after this they all lived happily ever after.
