Some of the steps which must be taken up inorder to strengthen the informal sector of South Africa are as follows -
1. To strengthen the informal sector, it is very necessary to provide basic education to the people of the country so that they may be able to handle the works properly and wisely.
2. Improvement in facilities like health facilities, education facilities, etc., should be done.
3. Counselling of the people of the country is also necessary to make them aware of the important things which they might not know.
4. Students should be allowed to indulge in other co-curricular things rather than only focussing on the bookish knowledge.
