1)Strategy adopted to prevent this infestation is based on process of Rna interference.

2) Using agrobacterium vectors, nematode specific genes were introduced into host plant.

3)Introduction of DNA was such that it produced both sense and antisense Rna in host cells.

4)These two Rna being complementary to each other form double stranded Rna, silencing

specific mRna of nematode.

5)As result parasite couldnt survive in host.
