Like the non-tribal groups, even the tribal groups have social stratification system based on parameters like power, status, age, gender, etc.

In the social stratification system of tribals, the position of the person in the clan, in the families or as individuals is considered and is ranked according to their relationship with other people in the same tribal group.

Since the tribal groups are endogamous, there is no link in between the tribal of one group and tribals of another group in a different area.

Since the tribal groups are autonomous, the stratification system will not have the ranks differentiated at a level of either two or more than 2 tribal groups.
