Heya
The bulbs used in the street lights are sodium vapoured bulbs.
They contain sodium vapours in them.
Electriciry is passed through the sealed bulbs filled with sodium vapours
When electricity is passed through them, thy emit photons(light) of longer wavelength (orange, yellow and red)
Thus the streetlights give yellow/orange light
