There are a couple of ways to do this:-
1) Firstly, Simply magnets demagnetise over a long course of time themselves NATURALLY.
2) If intentionally needed then you might HAMMER the magnet to make it lose its magnetism.
3) You can also HEAT them to do the same.
4) Making a electromagnetic field around it around the magnet and passing AC CURRENTS(Alternating currents) as they rapidly switch directions and change the orientation of ions....After this they might retain a bit of magnetism due to hysterisis
