The cerebrum is the largest portion of the brain which is divided into two halves called the cerebral hemisphere. The outer portion contains cell bodies of the neuron and is called grey matter. The inner portion of the cerebrum mainly consists of axons and is called white matter. It is the seat of intelligence, consciousness and will power and controls the voluntary activities.
Cerebellum is much smaller and is located under the cerebrum. It's main function is to balance the body and coordinate muscular activities.
Medulla oblongata is the lowest part of the brain and continues upto the spinal cord. It's function is to control the activities of the internal organs.
