Structure of nervous tissue :-
It is long in shape. It has two main parts namely cyton and axon.
Function :-
Helps to transmit stimulus.
Location :-
In nerves, brain and spinal.

nervous tissue is present in brain, spinal cord and nerves. the cells or this tissue are called neurons. refer to the attachment for the structure of neuron ↑↑↑
it consists a cell body with a nucleus and cytoplasm. from the cell body of a neuron, long and thin hair like structures arise. each neuron has a single long part, called axon and the short thin hair like structures are called dendrites.
functions are :-
>> cells of a nervous tissue are highly specialised for being simulated.
>> they help in transmitting of the stimulus very rapidly from one place to another within the body.
>> it also allow us to move our muscles wheywe want to.
