Structure of a leave is complimentary to its function. Explain.

The leaf is flat, has a large surface area and is thin. There are also tiny pores called stomata present in the leaves. This facilitates diffusion of substances, gases and the capture of sunlight by chlorophyll. So the structure of leaf is complementary to its function
