1.prokaryotes donot have a membrane bound nucleus. whereas eukaryotes are membrane bound. they have a specified compartment with in the cytoplasm of the cell.
2.most of prokaryotic genes are coding for proteins but in eukaryotes some genes codes for proteins whereas the remaining donot code for any proteins.
3. post translational modifications are not seen in prokaryotes, but seen in eukaryotes.
4. ER is absent in prokarhotes but present in eukaryotes. coz ER generally found attached to nuclear outer membrane. As prokaryotes donot have a nuclear membrane and the genome is freely suspended within the cytoplasm- prokaryotes donot have ER.
