The ruminant stomach is composed of 4 separate compartments. Food passes first into the rumen, then reticulum, omasum and finally into the abomasum before entering the duodenum.

ruminant contain 4 stomach system. It is a system like the food which is unchewed goes to stomach 1 and 2. In free time time the food comes back to their mouth and the chew it properly. This is known as the chewing of cud.
The properly chewed food tgen goes to stomach 3 and then to 4 for digestion
