Structure of a tree are:

  • A tree structure, tree diagram, or tree model is a way of representing the ladder nature of a structure in a graphical form.
  • It is named a "tree structure" because the classic representation resembles a tree, although the chart is generally upside down compared to a biological tree, with the "stem" at the top and the "leaves" at the bottom.

The exogenous growth of a tree are:

  • Pith or medulla.
  • Annual rings.
  • Heart wood.
  • Sap wood.
  • Cambium layer.
  • Medullary rays.
  • Bark.
  • Pith or medulla.
  • It is the first formed portion of the stem of tree.
  • It consists entirely of cellular tissues.
  • The pith, which when the plant is young, contain a large amount of fluid and nourishes the plant.
