Student A starts at the origin 'O'. She travels 10 km east. She then turns right
and walks 15 km south. Turning to her right again, she walks 10 km west.
How far is student A from the origin?

answer is 15 km

because when we will draw the diagram like the movement of the child A we will fine that we have drawn a rectangle. whose one edge is absent.

so we know that opposite sides of rectangle are equal. by this we find the remaining edge of rec.

IE. 15km

let the origin be A then after travelling he will be on point D as in the figure

ABCD is a rectangle

as, we know that opposite side of rectangle are equal

therefore,. AD=BC =15 km

student A is 15km far from origin
