Student has a concave mirror of 20cm focal length and he wants to see an erect image of his face in mirror what should be the range of distance of mirror.from his face. state the nature, and size of the image is likely to observe. draw a ray diagram to justify your answer.

Answer:The range of distance would be less than 2o cm . The nature of it is virtual and erect and the size of image would be greater than that of the object

Explanation:As it is given that it is a concave mirror and the image should be erect so in case of concave mirror there is only one case in which erect image is formed it is the 6th case in which the image is made between pole and the principal focus.
