Weight of Amar's backpack= 20100 g

Weight of Bhuvan's backpack= 19.2 kg =(19*1000)+2 g =19002 g

Weight of Shankar's backpack= 21300 g

Weight of Lily's backpack= 20120 g

Weight of Manish's backpack= 19.8 kg =(19*1000)+8 g =19008 g

Comparing all weights in grams, Shankar's backpack is the heaviest i.e. 21300 g

Hope this helps you.

First, we should make sure all of these weights are in the same unit of measurement. Let's convert all the grams to kilograms.

In kilograms, we already have these students:

  • Bhuvan, 19.2 kg
  • Manish, 19.8 kg

There are 1,000 grams in a kilogram, so divide the amount of grams by 1,000 to convert to kilograms.

20,100 ÷ 1,000 = 20.1 (Amar)

21,300 ÷ 1,000 = 21.3 (Shankar)

20,120 ÷ 1,000 = 20.12 (Lily)

So now we have (ordered from greatest to least):

  • 21.3 kg (Shankar)
  • 20.12 kg (Lily)
  • 20.1 kg (Amar)
  • 19.8 kg (Manish)
  • 19.2 kg (Bhuvan)

The student with the heaviest backpack is Shankar, with a backpack of 21.3 kg.
