Students are required to prepare a Traffic Impact Study/Analysis based on Arterial / Non-Arterial functional classification within the city. The main purpose of activity is to get familiar with the available methods used in Traffic Engineering.
Students are advised to incorporate following items along with assignment scripts / report.
• Location maps/linking diagram
• Days and periods to be counted.
• Traffic control - stop signs, traffic signals or roundabouts
• Medians, Shoulders, Parking.
• Level of Service (LOS)
