we know that,

• Interior angles on the same side of the transversal are supplementary .

since angles are between parallel lines l and m .

so,

→ ∠4 + ∠5 + ∠6 + ∠7 = 180°

also , given that,

• ∠4 = ∠5
• ∠6 = ∠7

then,

→ ∠5 + ∠5 + ∠6 + ∠6 = 180°

→ 2(∠5 + ∠6) = 180°

→ ∠5 + ∠6 = 90°

now, in ∆ we have,

→ ∠5 + ∠6 + ∠8 = 180° (By angle sum property.)

→ 90° + ∠8 = 180°

→ ∠8 = 180° - 90°

→ ∠8 = 90° (Ans.)
