This lockdown has affected everyone . Rich suffered from money loss , poor suffered from resource shortage .
Times were hard for us but not harder than homeless and the stray .
The only trial we did for other than ourselves , selflessly , being caring about not only our families but also other families.
On not a really present day I was standing near my window , trying to understand that the change this pandemic has made is inevitable . I saw a homeless man lying on the street below with his teary eyes facing the sky . A man came on his bike for buying essentials from the nearby grocery store. This homeless guy ran to him asking for something to eat but was soon shooed away .
With a heavy heart I watched this hoping someone would help him , but why SOMEONE when I CAN BE THE ONE ?
I asked my mom for some solution , she said she can make some extra food that day and help him . She did the same thing and I was ready with all safety measures ready to go .
I got a tin parcel and placed it near him , his eyes said it all , he bowed and blessed me . This is what real happiness feels like . Next day I went again but today 3 stray dogs joined him , we served them , the next day 2 more men joined and we helped them .
I expected the number to increase but since the next day police took rounds and shifted them to a safe place where they are given food everyday . Though my part ended someone else's started .
This simple act of kindness is bewildering .
