Technology has taken the world by storm. Education is no exception! Computers, internet and IT revolution have revolutionized each and every sphere of human life. Landline phones, letters, telegrams, TV, shopping, the cinema, and whatnot, everything has been computerized. The things that were in vogue have become things of yore!

Letters were succeeded by SMS; SMS became obsolete compared to whats app. Similarly libraries are being replaced by e-libraries. 'Students no longer need to go to libraries' does not mean they no longer need to study! That will be ridiculous. As long as there is life, learning will be indispensable. The sentence does not mean there won't be requirement of learning, reading, researching, and data collection. It simply means there won't be orthodox traditional libraries.

Students will have to study and research using e-libraries. Online libraries will be in vogue. Students will study and look up the required books and encyclopedia online. It will be far more convenient and time saving. Accessing any book any time without any botheration will stand students in good stead. The limitations such as time, quota, issue, reissue, damaging of book, loss of book, clash of issue, etc, will no longer hinder students.

As many students as wish will be able to access the books they require. The dimension of space and time will no longer stand as  impediments between the students and books. This is what is meant by the expression ' Students No Longer Need To Go To Libraries', as libraries will always be accessible online.
