let ABCD be the rhombus where AC= 10cm
and BD = 24cm
let AC and BD intersect at O.
Now , diagonals of rhombus bisects eachother at right angles.
Thus we have
AO = (1/2)×AC = 10/2 = 5cm
BO = (1/2)×BD = 24/2 = 12cm
Since AOB is right angled triangle. So by Pythagoras theorem
we have
AB^2 = AO^2 + BO^2
AB^2 = 5^2 + 12^2
AB^2 = 25+144
AB^2 = 169
AB = square root of 169
AB = 13cm
Hence lenght of its side is 13cm .
hope it helps you
