= $\frac{3}{5}(\frac{5x}{8})$

= $\frac{3x}{8}$

15 students like green.

Therefore, $\frac{3x}{8} = 15$

$x = \frac{15 \times 8}{3}$

x = 40

Therefore, the total number of students who surveyed = 40.
