It's a good department, under the department of production technology. It was started only three years ago, though the institution has its 70 year legacy. Lab facilities are yet to be completed and so the students will have to take their lab classes at the main campus. It's been said that the admission of students under the department of Mechanical engineering will not happen from the next academic year.
