i) The photograph shows that there is a lack of vegetation in the shown area. due to deforestation, the area looks very dry. the land is extremely deformed and there is many piles of rock. there is loss of soil. but if we look from the knowledge i have, then if mineral extraction is caused in that area then there will be many problems. like smoke and gases in the area. there is no cultivation and most importantly there will be many holes and pits. The noise and vibration will be caused during the mining process.

ii) If laws and legislation are applied during the extraction then the area will get safe enough. trees plantation should be done to avoid dryness and hot environment. the land shall be restored by adding fertilized soil and growing crops according to that area. visitors. workers, and residents or villagers must take personal health and safety precautions like wearing mask against dust, ear defender and regular medical check ups to avoid danger to themselves.
