(a) Name of defect of vision:
The defect is hypermetropia.
It makes eye to squit their eyes while reading. It also causes eye strain and headaches. People can use spectacles, surgery and lens are treatment for hypermetropia.
(b) Causes of the defect:
The length of the eye is shorter than required. This makes the light rays to pass behind retina and blurs the vision.
