Study the diagram given below and answer the following questions,

(a) What is the equivalent resistance of the given circuit?
(b) Find the amount of current flowing through each resistor.​

AS THE CIRCUIT IS CONNECTED IN PARALLEL SO EQUIVALENT RESISTANCE WILL BE

LET R1 = 5 OHM

LET R2 = 10 OHM

LET R3 = 30 OHM

SO RESISTANCE = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/ R3

=1/5 + 1/10 + 1/30

= 6+3+1/30 = 10/30 = 1/3 OHM

CURRENT FLOWING THROUGH EACH RESISTORS = I = V/R

I = 6/5 AMPERE CURRENT IN FIRST RESISTOR.

I = V/R

= 6/10 = 3/5 AMPERE SECOND RESISTOR

I = V/R

= 6/30 = 1/5 AMPERE THIRD RESISTOR
