1) It is hypermetropic eye. A person with hypermetropia can see distant object clearly but cannot see nearby objects distinctly.

2) It arises either because the focal length of the eye lens is too long or the eyeball has become too small.

3) As shown in the diagram above it can be corrected by using a convex lens of appropriate power.
