1) The regions of higest rainfall are found in the equatorial zone and the monsoon area of southeast Asia..

2) Kerala is the first state to receive the monsoon showers and the last state from where monsoon retreats . However as these winds keep moving up towards the central peninsular India ,by that time the wind has lost most of the moisture ,hence brings low rainfall to the central peninsular India .

3) The equatorial region has no real dry season and is constantly hot and humid. ... As distance from the equator increases, the duration, amount and reliability of precipitation all decrease. As a result, agricultural enterprises of any type become a riskier business as one moves away from the equator.

4) The climate of Western Europe is strongly conditioned by the Gulf stream,which keeps mild air over northwestern Europe in the winter months,especially in Ireland , the UK coastal Norway parts of central European plains have a hybrid Oceanic climate .
