The picture is set in some kind of a church or a religious place or gallery. We observe a portrait of Christ on the cross and others of Mother Mary and the saints which hints this. What actually draws our attention though are two couples who are seated on two different benches.
The couple on the right seem to be praying, while facing towards the framed portraits. We can clearly see the connection between them. They might be there praying for some special blessings or favors in their life or just simply spending quality time with God, giving thanks for all the blessings in their life and with each other.
One the contrary, the couple on the right look like total strangers with their backs facing the portraits. They are clearly distanced from each other. They seem to be very frustrated with their lives and each are in a different world busy with their own work and thoughts. Both are on their devices are not paying any kind of respect or attention to the place they're in or to each other. Some kind of arrogance is also observed in their demeanor.
A single picture can talk great lengths about a situation and the people involved. A lot of assumptions can be made about the two couples in this picture.
