The water was slowly moving. My legs and pants were soaking wet, and my palms were dripping. The water was cold and my body was freezing, as it was exposed back outside into the air. My father was walking with me, with his head extended up. I could see his eyes dart from right to left while he tried to see beyond the umbrellas and cars. We didn't have either so by now my whole body was drenched by the small waterfalls the other people's umbrellas created. I could not see much ahead, it was all blocked off. I looked at my father, then out to my left. With it's wide and open space I detached and went off. As I struggled to overcome the waters push, a gust of wind blew from the near right. It hit me softly but unpleasantly as the cold hit my back. I stopped and looked out far, where now I could finally see all the people gathered up in a line, with their umbrellas. Soaking wet just like myself, moving past cars. Then out at the end, a huge group of people huddled and protected by everyone's umbrellas.
