Answer:

Experiments are generally the most precise studies and have the most conclusive power. They are particularly effective in supporting hypotheses about cause and effect relationships. However, since the conditions in an experiment are artificial, they may not apply to everyday situations.

A study that proceeds from effect to cause is called an Experimental study.

  • Experimental studies are based upon experiments rather than studying the theory first and then applying them to real-life situations.
  • When we perform an experiment we do have some base prerequisite knowledge but not all of it. When the experiment is being performed, we observe the changes determined by pure sight or by using some apparatus.
  • Only after the experiment has been performed and the results are out and we can finally see the effects of the experiment performed, do we conclude on the cause that was behind such effect.
