In the morning, they make a garment of children that are blue, during the day, they make marriage veils of the queen, and at night, they stay calm making white clothes. This is an indication of the different stage of human life: childhood, being a youth and death. Sarojini uses different poetic devices such as symbolism and imagery to bring out the central idea that human beings pass through different phases of life that are characterized by sorrows and joy.
