The word soluble here refers to the minerals which easily dissolve in the soil. Thus they are termed as soluble.

Hope this helps.

Answer:

Horizon B is also known as subsoil. It is light brown in colour. It has lots of iron and clay minerals accumulated in it. This layer contains more soluble minerals*.

Soluble minerals: Soluble means the substances that can be dissolved in water..So some minerals in diet are in form of salts and these salts can be dissolved in water...Thus,these soluble minerals are also present in subsoil or Horizon B.
