the cost of the cardboard for supplying 200 boxes of each kind = 324.064 Rs

Step-by-step explanation:

Surface Area of bigger box  20 cm, 15 cm and 5cm

= 2(20 * 15 + 20 * 5 + 15 * 5)

= 2(300 + 100 + 75)

= 2 (475)

= 950  cm²

4% of the total surface area is required extra for all overlaps = (4/100)950 = 38  cm²

Total surface area for one bigger box = 950 + 38 = 988 cm²

surface area for 200 bigger box = 200 * 988 = 197600 cm²

= 19.76 m²

cost of the cardboard is rupees 10 for 1 m²

Cost of 19.76 m² = 19.76 * 10 = 197.6 Rs

Surface Area of Smaller box  16 cm, 12 cm and 4cm

= 2(16 * 12 + 16 * 4 + 12 * 4)

= 2(192 + 64 + 48)

= 2 (304)

= 608  cm²

4% of the total surface area is required extra for all overlaps = (4/100)608 = 24.32  cm²

Total surface area for one smaller box = 608 + 24.32 = 632.32 cm²

surface area for 200 smaller box = 200 * 632.32  = 126464 cm²

= 12.6464 m²

cost of the cardboard is rupees 10 for 1 m²

Cost of 12.6464 m² = 12.6464 * 10 = 126.464 Rs

Total cost =  197.6 + 126.464 = 324.064 Rs

the cost of the cardboard for supplying 200 boxes of each kind = 324.064 Rs
