Let Sania's age = x years

∴ Subhash's age = ( x + 3 ) years

Now it is given that the sum of their ages is 33 years

So by the given condition

x + x + 3 = 33

⇒ 2x + 3 = 33

⇒ 2x = 33 - 3

⇒ 2x = 30

⇒ x = 15

Sania's age = 15 years

Subhash's age = 18 years
