Answer:

We know that, 1000 litres = 1m^3

So, 1 litre = 1/1000 m^3

4 litres = 4/1000m^3

Volume of container = 0.08 × 0.5 × h m^3

= 0.04h m^3

Then, 4/1000 m^3 = 0.04h m^3

4 = 0.04h × 1000

4 = 40h

h = 4/40

h = 0.1m or 10cm
