Rules of subject and verb agreement:

  1. The subject along with the verb of a sentence should always be singular.
  2. The subject along with the verb of a sentence should always be plural.
  3. If the subject comprises of multiple nouns or pronouns linked by the conjunction and in a sentence, the verb must be plural.
  4. Suppose there are multiple verbs and an individual subject in a given sentence, then the verbs should always go along with the mentioned subject.
