On the 20th of July 5 people have gone missing while crossing the river to Jajarkot in Chaujahari municipality, Rukum west.
The police states that 5 people were on the boat which included Shyam sundar-45, Gita sahi-29, Ran soul-17 and 2 children. They were crossing the river to Jajarkot and the fast flow of water took the boat with them. As reported no safety precautions were taken in the boat.
The search for the 5 missing people is on going. The police hopes to find them soon.
