1. The Abenaki are a Native American tribe and First Nation. They are one of the Algonquian-speaking peoples of northeastern North America.

1.Abenakis are the people of the dawn or easterners , they are original natives of Vermont , New Hampshire and Maine
2. Abenaki childrens do various works such as : a) go for hunting b) fishing with their father c) learn to paddle canoes . The Indian abenakis play with each other , go to school and help in house hold chores.
3. In the past the abenakis lived in a small round buildings called wigwams .Their village contained many wigwams or longhouse, a meeting hall and sweat lodge.
