L is the bisector of angle A

BP and BQ are perpendicular

To prove:-

I) ∆ABQ ≈ ∆AQB

ii) BP = BQ

proof:-

In ∆ ABQ and ∆AQB

AB = AB (common)

Angle Q = angle P = 90°

Angle QAB = Angle BAP (L is bisector of angle A)

∆ABP ≈ ∆AQB (AAS congruence rule )

ii) BP = BQ ( by cpct)
