Voice, in grammar is a form of a verb indicating the relation between the participants in a narrated event (subject, object) and the event itself.

#There are two (2) types of voices in English. They are: The active voice and The passive voice.

#*Active voice :-it is a grammatical voice common in many of the world's language. In active voice, the subject of the sentence perform the action.

For eg. I will clean the house every Saturday.

#*Passive voice :-passive voice means that the subject is the recipient of the action. In this case, the subject is being acted upon.

For eg. The house will be clean by me every Saturday

## important rules:

Active Voice:(Subject)+(verb)+(object)

passive Voice:(object) + (auxiliary verb)+ (past participle)+(by)+(subject).

More examples (A→Active & P→Passive)

AHe ate six chappati at dinner.

P→At dinner, six chappati were eaten by him.

A→Beautiful mares roam the hills.

P→The hill is roamed by beautiful mares.

A→Sue changed the flat tire.
