When sublimation of ammonium chloride is done it sublimes and changes to gaseous form from solid. When the gaseous ammonium chloride is cooled it turns back into solid. Hence it is a physical change since it is reversible and no new product is formed while sublimating the ammonium chloride.

Sublimation of ammonium chloride is aphysical and reversible change because sublimation is a process in which solid is converted into gaseous state and vice versa without converting into liquid state.
