We have to subtract 5/7 from -1/7

= -1/7 -5/7

1st step: look at the two rational number is the denominator is same simply take the denominator of the solution as 7 and if the denominators are not same then take out the LCM of the denominator so here the denominators are same therefore,

= -1/7-5/7

= -1-5/7

= -6/7 (Answer)
