Step-by-step explanation:

From eq 1 : x = 50+y ——-3

Substitute 3 in eq no 2

3(50+y)+2y=25

150 + 3y + 2y =25

5y = 25-150

Therefore, y = -125/5= -25

Substitute this value in eq 1:

X= 50-25

= 25

Therefore : x =25 and y = -25

We have equations :-

x - y = 50 _________________(1)

3x + 2y = 25________________(2)

Take equation (1)

x - y = 50

x = 50 + y

Put Value of x in equation (2).

3(50 + y) + 2y = 25

150 + 3y + 2y = 25

5y + 150 = 25

5y = 25 - 150

5y = -125

y = -125/5

y = - 25

_______________

Now put value of y in equation (1)

x - (-25) = 50

x + 25 = 50

x =50 - 25

x = 25
