ANSWER :-

2x + y = 6 ----------------------(1)

4x - 2y = 3 -----------------------(2)

From equation (1) we find y = 6 - 2x

put this value of y in (2)

we get , 4x - 2y = 3

4x - 2(6-2x) = 3

4x - 12 + 12x = 3

16x - 12 = 3

16x = 3 + 12

16x = 15

x = 15/16

Put the value of x = 15/16 in (2)

4(15/16) - 2y = 3

60/16 - 2y = 3

60 - 32y / 16 = 3

60 - 32y = 16 × 3

60-32y = 48

60-48 = 32y

12 = 32y

12/32 = y

6/16 = y

3/8 = y
