In a circle we have :

Formula for the Arc length =  Ф * R ,   Ф in radians
                                     or =  Ф * 2π /360°  * R    if Ф is in °.

Given              Arc length =  Ф/360° * 2 * π * R

It is same as the formula.

  We need the data of length of arc and angleФ, to find Radius R.

rrgg: Yeah but what is the final formula of r after substitution...

Heya user,

given, minor
⌒ θ / 360 * 2πradius
=> minor
⌒ / [ ( θ / 360 ) ( 2π ) ] = radius
=> Radius =
minor ⌒ / [ ( θ / 360 ) ( 2π ) ]
