Answer:

x=1 and y=0

Step-by-step explanation:

2x-y = 2--------(1)

y=2x-2---------(3)

4x-y = 4----------(2)

substitute y=2x-2 in (2)

therefore we get,

4 x - ( 2 x - 2 ) = 4

4 x - 2 x + 2 = 4

VARIABLES ONE SIDE AND CONSTANTS ANOTHER SIDE

=>4 x - 2 x = 4 - 2

=>2 x = 2

=>x = 1

Substitute x=1 in (3)

y = 2x-2

y = 2 (1) - 2

y = 2-2

y = 0

therefore the value of x is 1 and the value of y is 0

HOPE SO IT WILL BE HELPFUL
