2x + 3y = 0 ...... (i)
3x + 4y = 5 ........ (ii)
From equation (i) , we get
2x = -3y
=> x = -3y / 2 .....(iii)
On substituting the value of x in equation (ii) we get ,
3( -3y/2 ) + 4y = 5
=> -9y / 2 + 4y = 5
=> -9y + 8y / 2 = 5
=> -y = 10
=> y = -10
Now, on putting the value of y in equation (iii) we get,
x = -3(-10) /2
= 30 /2 = 15
Hence the value of x= 15 and y = -10 .
3x + 4y = 5 ........ (ii)
From equation (i) , we get
2x = -3y
=> x = -3y / 2 .....(iii)
On substituting the value of x in equation (ii) we get ,
3( -3y/2 ) + 4y = 5
=> -9y / 2 + 4y = 5
=> -9y + 8y / 2 = 5
=> -y = 10
=> y = -10
Now, on putting the value of y in equation (iii) we get,
x = -3(-10) /2
= 30 /2 = 15
Hence the value of x= 15 and y = -10 .
