2x-3y=26.......(2)
by substitution method
put x=3-y in eqn. no. 2
2(3-y)-3y=26
6-2y-3y=26
-2y-3y=26-6
-5y=20
y=20/-5
y=-4
put y=4 in eqn. no. 1 we get
x=3-4
x=-1
S.S={-1,-4]
2x-3y=26.......(2)
by substitution method
put x=3-y in eqn. no. 2
2(3-y)-3y=26
6-2y-3y=26
-2y-3y=26-6
-5y=20
y=20/-5
y=-4
put y=4 in eqn. no. 1 we get
x=3-4

x+y=3 -1+(-4)=3
also x=3-y -1=3-4 -1+4=3 3=3
