x - 2y = 6 \\ x = 6 + 2y..........(i)

3x - 5y = 0 \\ 3(6 + 2y) - 5y = 0 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: [from \: eq.(i)] \\ 18 + 6y - 5y = 0 \\ 18 + y = 0 \\ y =  - 18

x = 6 + 2( - 18) \\ x = 6 - 36 \\ x =  - 30

Hence, the value of x is -30 and y is -18.
